My life’s been a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of martial arts, pageantry, art, writing, and sculpting. I’ve received numerous achievements, and I believe exposure is one of the keys that align our focus with our commitment.
During my teenage years, I started with karate, earning a Shotokan black belt amidst national wins. After completing my master’s degree in physics and marrying Ransom Sutnga, I stood 2nd runner-up at Mrs. India in the Classic category, 2016, and represented India at Mrs. Asia International 2016 in Malaysia.
From 2017-2019, I was National Director of National Pageant India under NRE Pageant India Pvt Ltd. I was also Director-in-Charge of Ms/Mrs Glamour International (HQ Belgium) and King and Queen of the Universe (HQ South Africa).

I was conferred Goodwill Ambassador 2019 by World Class Excellence Japan Award and received Nine Lifetime Achievement Awards for Cultural Enhancement from AIPC in 2022. COVID led me to art – I won 1st at the State level and 2nd at the National level Kalakaar Manthan Championship for painting (2024). I showcased my artworks in different exhibitions at Kalaa Spandan Art Fair, Mumbai, 2024, Creative Arts Affair at Jemini Roy Gallery March, 2025, in Calcutta, and at BALGANDHARVA ART gallery Pune, May 2025, and Ellora Art and craft Society in Pune, May 2025.

On February 12, 2026, I was felicitated as a Rotary Peace Ambassador for winning the Rotary Peace Art Festival at the Sustainable Environment and Peace Conference held in Pune.

As a writer and poet, my poems are published in national and international magazines like Flora Fiction, 100 Subtexts, Cultural Reverence, and many others. In October 2025, I won Joint Second Place, Unpublished Poetry in the World, at PREMIO INTERNAZIONALE CITTA DI ARONA. On November 30, 2025, I won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2nd International Literary Competition Amilcare Solferini. On January 13, 2026, my book “The Pulse”, a collection of 101 poems, was launched at the World Book Fair in Delhi. Each poem is accompanied by my own sketch or painting, including the book cover. 39 poems explore the works of Rabon Sing Kharsuka, my Great Grandfather, highlighting my cultural heritage, philosophical folk tales, and Khasi customs.

As a sculptor, I first crafted the bust of my Great Grandfather, Rabon Sing Kharsuka, known as the ‘Father of Khasi Philosophy’ – one of the first Khasi authors. I’ve since created several other sculptures, showcased at my home in Umsning.
